POST /v1/questions/generatePOST /v1/questions/generate/batchbilled per passage

Turns a passage into n natural, search-style questions that it answers. Useful for FAQs, study cards and search training data. Powered by mist-qg-1.5b.

The questions are always in the passage’s own language: a Yorùbá passage gives Yorùbá questions. language tells the model what language the passage is in; it does not translate.

Request

Field	Default	Notes
`passage`	required	1 to 8,000 characters. Works best at paragraph length.
`n`	`3`	1 to 10 questions.
`language`	`English`	The passage’s language: `yor`, `yo` or `Yoruba`, or any of the 25 in `GET /v1/languages`. Set it to match the passage.

warnings flags a very short passage, or a language the model is less confident in.

Batch

POST /v1/questions/generate/batch with "passages": [...] (up to 64, all in the same language) returns {"results": [[...], [...]]}.
